Virginia Beach to celebrate Charleston cuisine

The Kitchen Barn in Virginia Beach is set to celebrate the cuisine of Charleston and wider South Carolina, and it has invited the public to join in this culinary adventure.

The team at the venue will be providing the opportunity to be immersed in the food as well as the culture of Charleston, for what the organizers hope will be a memorable experience. Tickets are $108.55, which includes any applicable taxes and administration fees.

The demonstration class will include dishes the facilitator discovered and sampled while on a recent week’s visit to Charleston. Shrimp and grits, crab soup, cornbread, and sweets will all be on the menu for the afternoon. It will take place in the venue’s Chef’s Kitchen, and five courses will be prepared along with taste testing opportunities. Bottled water will be provided, and the activity will run for two hours.

A culinary event may be appreciated by foodies and those who simply want to try something new. A flyer printing company can be tasked with preparing laminated cards printed with the recipes taught during a workshop so the attendees can easily recreate them in their home kitchen.

The crew at Kitchen Barn will be showcasing the cuisine from Charleston on Sunday, March 2, starting at 1:30 pm. It can be found at 1628 Laskin Road in Virginia Beach, and tickets have been made available online.
