There is a popular saying that it takes an entire village to raise a child, and an opportunity is on offer for residents of Virginia Beach to help local kids and have fun doing so.
YSC is a local charitable organization that helps area children, and one of its signature fundraisers for the upcoming year will be its Oyster and Pig Roast in three months’ time. It will be an all-you-can-eat affair, with lots of food, wine, beer, and other tasty treats on offer.
Tickets for the occasion are $55 each, and this includes unlimited servings of chili, oysters, chowder, chicken, barbecue, and other food. There will also be live entertainers on hand for the afternoon, and the event will be held outdoors to take advantage of the mild spring weather. It will take place rain or shine, and will be limited to those who are age 21 and over.
