VA Beach convention center hosts expo and ball

The Virginia Beach Convention Center is putting on several events in March.

The United Negro College Fund of Richmond is hosting the Hampton Roads UNCF Mayor's Masked Ball. This annual event raises money and encourages large organizations to donate to its cause.

Tickets are $175 for individuals but sponsor packages are available for businesses and community organizations.

Also, Eagle Bay Hardscape Products is teaming up with the Tidewater Builders Association to present the Mid-Atlantic Home and Outdoor Living Show. This is the 34th year of the annual event, a longer run than any other outdoor living and home improvement show in the area.

Every year, the show displays the latest technology, style, and decorations that bring new life to a garden, home, or any outdoor space. More than 200 businesses and organizations will exhibit their products and services that help create and maintain quality indoor and outdoor living spaces.

General admission is $10. First responders and military officials pay $7 with a valid ID. Individuals 62 years and older receive a senior discount at $8, while children 12 and under get in free.

The Masked Ball is on March 7 at 7:00 pm. The Outdoor Living Show is on March 7 from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm and March 8 from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. The Virginia Beach Convention Center is located at 1000 19th Street. When appealing to businesses and organizations, convention centers often use specialized Letterheads for correspondence.
