An upcoming Virginia Beach event will give participants a chance to test their endurance while raising money for a not-for-profit group that supports former navy SEALS and Naval Special Warfare families.
The route of the BAY2OCEAN Charity Ruck, which has been organized by North Beach Endurance LLC., will start on a stretch of beach near Chesapeake Bay and wind up at Virginia Beach’s statue of King Neptune. It will pass through First Landing State Park, and travel along at least two beaches.
A feature that is new for this year will be the option to choose between a two-person team ruck race and a one that is geared more towards social fitness. Each person needs to carry a ruck with at least 30 pounds of contents, and have two to three liters of water with them.
There will be a draw for raffle prizes, as well as awards given to the top three teams. A Print company can produce items like these, as well as everything from race bibs to Banners, Signs, and more that can help to make an event like this a success.
Tickets to take part in the event, which has been scheduled for November 13, are $25 each. It will begin at 8:00 am at the Hot Tuna Parking Lot in Virginia Beach.
An opportunity to register or find out more can be found on the BAY2OCEAN Charity Ruck’s Eventbrite page.
