There will be a weekend festival taking place in Virginia Beach in mid-May.
The Beach Music Weekend is a unique celebration of music held on the beachfront. It will feature Beach Music bands from the East Coast in two days of ticketed concerts on a beach stage at 30th Street. The concerts will take place on a Friday evening, which will pave the way for a whole day of entertainment on Saturday. The festival also includes an array of food trucks as well as promenade vendors and sponsors. Attendees will have the opportunity to win cash prizes and trophies by participating in a car show.
Tickets can be purchased for a single day or as a weekend pass. The festival will be held outside and individuals are invited to bring picnic blankets into the event area, but glasses and alcohol may not be brought inside. Animals are also not allowed unless they are service animals. Individuals must be 21 years or age and have a picture ID to consume alcoholic drinks.
