Musical series to be held in Virginia Beach

A live concert series will be held in Virginia Beach this July.

Set up by the Neptune Park, the event is named Neptune Festival's Symphonies by the Sea Concert Series. It will feature weekly free musicals for guests to enjoy.

The event is a project by the Breeden Company, a local real estate firm that aims to provide Virginia Beach residents with an intimate musical adventure. Performances guests can look forward to will include ones from the Virginia Symphony Orchestra and Symphonicity.

The festival is free to attend for all residents, and there are season VIP packages available. These will include pre-concert receptions, complimentary snacks, valet parking, alcoholic beverages, and appetizers for all shows. The cost for this is $175 until March 15, after which, there is a price increase to $195. Ticket vouchers are also redeemable for future Symphonies events. The event kicks off on Thursday, July 14, and will return on August 11, 18, and 19. It happens at Neptune Park, which is located at 3001 Atlantic Avenue, Virginia Beach, Virginia. Each event begins at 7:30 pm, and ends at 9:00 pm.
