The Virginia Beach branch of The Dinner Detective is hosting a dinner murder mystery.
Comedy Murder Mystery Dinner Show is the biggest murder mystery interactive show in the nation. Guests will enjoy a gourmet meal while solving a crime. The actors, including the murderer, are hiding in the audience and are not wearing discernable costumes. The show is also a comedy and is designed for an adult audience.
The dinner and show will start at 6:00 pm on January 18. The doors will open around 10 minutes before show time, and the show ends at 9:00 pm. The Wyndham hotel on the Virginia Beach Oceanfront, located 5700 Atlantic Avenue, will be the host and is offering free parking.
The cost is $59.95 per person and includes a four-course meal, the murder mystery show, and prizes for the best detective. A cash bar will be available for those interested. Guests must be 15 or older with an adult present, and groups are warned that they may be asked to leave without a refund if younger members are in the team.
The courses include appetizers to pass around that the chef will create specifically for the event, a garden salad, chocolate cake for dessert, and a choice between chicken, fish, and a vegetarian dish.
