LaSelecta Radio will host the annual two-day Latin Fest in Virginia Beach this June.
Latin Fest honors Latin culture through the five senses such as music, food, and activities for families. The main events and headlining acts will be on the Oceanfront Boardwalk in the 24th Street Stage and Park on the beach.
Musicians from around the United States will perform energetic songs to inspire movement during the night from a varied group of listeners. Other entertainers from the local area and across the region will bring audiences together with Jazz, Merengue, and Salsa beats. A DJ will start warm up the main stage at 5:00 pm both nights before musicians come out. Acts performing this year include Desorden Publico, Andy Andy, and El Chevo.
Attendees can attend the Zumba marathon in the 17th Street Park Saturday morning. Multiple instructors from the Mambo Room will lead participants of varying ages and experience. In the 24th Street Park, attendees can purchase items from vendors and learn about Latin culture through other activities.
It is free to attend the concerts on the beach, but tickets for a premium view at the front are available for purchase for $12 plus fees. Tickets also include a drinks tent and restroom access. Small festivals use printing services to create premium access tickets.
Latin Fest starts on June 12 at 5:30 pm and ends on June 13 at 11:00 pm.
