Gem and mineral show coming to Virginia Beach

An event is planned for Virginia Beach that is intended to appeal to rock hounds, lovers of fine jewelry, and those who are curious about minerals alike.

The Treasures of the Earth Gem, Mineral and Jewelry Show will bring together vendors from all over the United States. There will be everything from fossils and minerals to jewelry, crystals, loose stones, beads, beading supplies, and other handcrafted items.

Along with the vendors, two gem and mineral societies from the local area will be on hand with displays, as well as geode cutting and other demonstrations.

Those who have an item that they would like to have appraised will be able to access the services of an onsite GIA certified gemologist. The vendors, gemologists, and groups who set up display booths at expos such as this can use business card printing services to create impressive cards that they can give out to those who request their contact information.

The show will take place at the Virginia Beach Convention Center from April 29th until May 1st. Admission for the event has been set at $5 per person for adults, with those under 16 and military personnel with ID being admitted free of charge.
