Foodie fun in Virginia Beach

A popular festival is returning to Virginia Beach, and is sure to please the city’s foodies.

The Virginia Beach Taco Festival will be held at The Shack, giving taco lovers two full days of opportunities to nibble their favorite food. The festival includes some of the best food trucks and restaurants in the region, who will be serving their versions of the ever-popular taco for $3 each.

There is a lot more on the schedule than tacos. Those who are curious about adult beverages can try samples in the Tequila Sampling Tent, or at the Margarita Beach Bar. A taco eating contest is planned, as is a chili pepper eating contest. Live music will include DJs, cover bands, and mariachis, and there will be a Kids’ Zone and face painters. Non-food vendors are also participating, and there will be a Baggo Tournament as well, plus games and activities for people of all ages. Flyer printing can be used to create handouts for attendees at events like this.

To keep everyone safe and healthy, attendees will be required to wear facial coverings at all times except when eating or drinking. Team members will also be masked, and hand sanitizer will be available. Further details about the day will be available as plans are finalized.

The Virginia Beach Taco Festival is set for June 5 and 6, and there are two sessions available each day. The Shack is on Atlantic Avenue.
