Next month, Food + Travel - Hospitality Fund presents Donut - a celebration of the deep-fried and sugary treat.

The Hospitality Fund is a non-profit organization whose mission is to help those that work in the food and hospitality industry in times of need. Donut Fest is the sweetest event in Virginia Beach and will also feature beer. Those interested in attending will get to sample donuts from several vendors and take part in voting for the city’s best donut. Attendees 21 years old and over will receive an alcoholic drink ticket. There will be coffee and non-alcoholic drinks available for those who do not wish to drink beer.

Tickets cost $18 and include a donut sample from each vendor, one beer ticket, non-alcoholic beverage samples, access to a photo-booth, entry into a donut eating contest, and a voting ballot to name the best donut. Children and designated drivers will pay $12. VIP packages cost $28 and include all that was mentioned before, plus an additional beer ticket, a goodie bag, one raffle ticket, and giveaways.

Poster printing is a great way for organizers to provide information or get exposure to an event such as this.

The festival will be on Monday, October 10, from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm. VIP ticket holders may enter from 1:00 pm. It will be held in Virginia Beach, with the venue to be announced. The Facebook page can be followed for updates.
