Distilleries go head to head next month

Audi Virginia Beach will present its annual Virginia Bourbon Invitational this November.

This invitational will see over a dozen distilleries vying for the position of top bourbon producer in the state. Organizers aim to have patrons and competitors alike entertained as they taste the state's finest bourbon. In addition to official judges, patrons are also encouraged to vote for their favorites. The champion will receive the People's Choice award.

Now in its third year, the event sees all proceeds go to The Virginia Gentlemen Foundation, which partners with local charities aiming to fight life-changes diseases such as amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS).

Attendees will also have a host of selections for food and other drinks, including local beachside restaurants such as Orion's Roof. The event bar will also have a variety of other drinks on offer. Emerson's Cigar Bar will be present to give attendees a lounge location.

Live music will be provided, with the line-up including Cody Stageberg and Vynil Headlights.

Tickets are available at three levels: Conservator, General Admission, and VIP. Conservator tickets are $60. General admission is $125, and VIP is $195. VIP holders can enter up to an hour before start-time.

Participants at events such as these often use flyer printing as a way to gain exposure and provide information to attendees.

The event will be held at the Cavalier Hotel on November 6 from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm. VIP entry begins at 12:00 pm. The resort is located at 4200 Atlantic Avenue, Virginia Beach.
