Spring is in the air in Virginia Beach, and that means the Aerodrome Wine Classic Fundraiser is set to swoop in to help support the area’s Military Aviation Museum.
Representative from an assortment of local wineries will be on hand to provide tasking samples of their different vintages, and those who attend will be able to sip their favorites while they have a chance to browse through the displays of classic cars that have been provided by area antique car enthusiasts.
Above all of this, triplanes and biplanes from the bygone era of World War One will be taking to the sky throughout the afternoon, taking off from the museum’s grass runway. The crowd can enjoy the wine, cars, and aircraft while listening to music played by Mike Proffit.
Tickets for the event, which is for those ages 21 and over, have been priced at $40.00, with advanced tickets available for purchase online at $35 up until April 10. Funds raised will be used to help the museum. Graphic design can be used to create logos that can be used on materials to promote events such as this to the public.
The date for the classic has been set as April 16. Anyone who would like to purchase tickets, or just find out more information about the Aerodrome Wine Fundraiser, is invited to visit the museum’s website for further information.
