The Virginia Beach Convention Center will host a Bridal and Wedding Expo later in the year.
There are several aspects to the planning, designing, and performing of a wedding and reception, and each year, vendors and exhibitors at this event demonstrate their skills in giving engaged couples the best day of their lives.
Florists and decorating companies bring displays of table and flower arrangements along with wedding and reception decoration ideas. Guests can sample edible delights from bakeries, chefs, and caterers and see models of elaborately decorated cakes.
Limousines, travel agencies, venues, and honeymoon destinations set up booths to detail how they are the best in the industry. Printing services bring examples of wedding Invitations, Signs, guest Books, table markers, and name cards. At each expo, guests have a chance to receive free products and services such as gift cards, cakes, and home accessories. Guests can also win cash with a grand prize of $10,000.
Last year, Arthur Murray Dance Studio performed a demonstration of various types of dances, Signature DJ's provided a live demo, and McEllis Brides gave away a gown after a fashion show.
General admission is $10, and children 15 and under attend free. Parking is also free. There is a chance to win free passes to the showcase on the Bridal and Wedding Expo website.
This event is on November 8 from 12:30 to 5:00 pm. The Virginia Beach Convention Center is located at 1000 19th Street.
