Battling beers in Virginia Beach

Beer enthusiasts have an event just for them coming up in Virginia Beach.

Veer Magazine, Virginia Craft Beer Magazine, and Beach Ambassadors are presenting the 9th Annual 757 Battle of the Beers. The event is a fundraiser for local charities, including St. Mary's Home and Hope House Foundation, as well as several other causes chosen by the brewers.

Both general admission and VIP tickets are available. Tickets include tastings of more than 60 beers from over 30 local brewers; a sampling guide; live music; a souvenir glass; a token to vote for the People’s Choice award; a $5 food voucher good at any of the attending food trucks; a silent auction, and more. The VIP ticket includes all this plus early entry, unlimited tastings, a full-color souvenir glass, and a special separate VIP section.

Brewers are coming to the festival from all over the state, but there are ten from Virginia Beach itself confirmed thus far, and some are new to the event. They are:

• Young Veterans Brewing Co.

• Wasserhund Brewing Co.

• Vibrant Shore Brewing Co.

• Thin Brew Line

• Reaver Beach Brewing Co.

• Pleasure House Brewing Co.

• New Realm Brewing Co.

• Farmhouse Brewing Co.

• Deadline Brewing Co.

The beer festival is scheduled for September 18 at Camp Pendleton in Virginia Beach. General admission is $60, and hours are 1.00 pm until 6.00 pm. VIP admission is $80, and hours are 12.00 pm until 6.00 pm. Organizers of events like this can use flyer printing to create guides for attendees.
