Pasadena plans workplace workshop

The Pasadena Chamber of Commerce has a workshop coming up that seeks to break down generational divides and help all groups get along in the workplace.

The organization offers a yearly schedule of learning opportunities for its membership and the wider community as well, and it has planned an activity that will explore ways to create a harmonious and inclusive workplace. Admission is complimentary, and it will be a morning event.

The session will ask and answer the question of whether or not different generations can work together, and it will offer ideas that may help them to collaborate. Attendees will receive tips for making the most of the talents and abilities each generation brings to the table, and issues such as miscommunication and behavior differences will be discussed. A panel will share its expertise during the event.

Events hosted by community service organizations often depend upon the generosity of the local corporate community. One way they can support an activity is by supplying promotional products or other gifts in kind, perhaps branded with company names or logos.

The Generations Collide Breakfast Workshop will open at 8:30 am on Wednesday, March 22. It is scheduled to go on until 10:00 am, and tickets are on offer now. The morning will take place at Community Transformation Church located at 6109 Fairmont Parkway.
