Free Christmas tree lighting ceremony coming to Pasadena
Pasadena will welcome the holiday season with the annual Tree Lighting Ceremony.
This community event features a winter wonderland of activities for families. This includes face painting, snow-slide stations, balloon artists, lighted scenes, and a live performance by Jake Bush.
The event will take place outside and is free to attend. Guests can look forward to walking through the City’s Circle of Trees displays, and end the stroll with a family photo opportunity. Organizers urge attendees to bring their own cameras too, and take photos free of charge.
Santa and Mrs. Claus will be staying inside, offering photo sessions to guests. Food vendors will also be stationed at the event, providing food and beverages for purchase. At events like this, organizers can leverage flyer printing to distribute maps and the entire schedule at nearby community centers and the library.
While there is no designated public parking for the event, attendees can park in nearby lots and walk over to the venue, so guests are encouraged to arrive early to secure suitable parking and enjoy the full experience. Portable toilets will be available outside, while bathrooms will be inside the library.
The annual Tree Lighting Ceremony is set for Friday, December 5 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Central Public Library, 1201 Jeff Ginn Memorial Dr.
