Texas Crawfish Events is hosting a crawfish festival near Pasadena that organizers hope will kick off the 2026 crawfish season. The Houston Crawfish Kickoff Festival is part of a series of Kickoff Festivals being hosted statewide and organizers expect more than 2,000 people to attend. Ticket printing for events is typically done at Print shops.
Organizers for The Crawfish Kickoff Festival told Houston Informed that crawfish will be served by the pound, with all-you-can-eat tickets and general admission tickets available. There will also be multiple food vendors offering other items from their Menus. There will be a full bar available at the event. Live music will be played by local bands and DJs.
The Crawfish Kickoff Festival will be held outdoors at Guadalupe Plaza Park. Organizers said there will be seating available at the park location and attendees are welcome to bring folding chairs or blankets. Tents and coolers will not be allowed. Organizers plan to keep capacity somewhat limited at the event. There will be a limited number of tickets sold and they could sell out before the date of the festival. The festival is open to families, and children aged eight and under will receive free general admission.
The Houston Crawfish Kickoff Festival is scheduled for March 7th from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Guadalupe Plaza Park near Pasadena.
