There are many educational events which Pasadena residents can enjoy throughout the summer, and an upcoming seminar is set to provide plenty of hands-on experiences.
Pasadena is set to host Repticon Houston. This event has been created to highlight the unique contributions that reptiles make to the environment. It is also intended to dispel common myths, and to provide guests with an up-close-and-personal view of numerous specimens. Repticon also provides a unique opportunity for guests to purchase animals within controlled settings. Some sponsors of this year's festival include Family Reptiles, Premium Crickets, Reptile Express, and Guardians of the Geckos.
This is also a nationwide event, and vendors will travel between different cities. Once they have passed through Pasadena, they are slated to visit other locations including Melbourne, Fort Myers, and Port Charlotte. The exact itinerary can be found by visiting the official Repticon website.
