Pasadena event to fill food pantry shelves
This November, Pasadena residents will have the opportunity to offer their neighbors in need a helping hand when they contribute to a local charitable drive.
The Pasadena Food Drive will be a day filled with community spirit, and everyone can get involved. It will be a volunteer-driven activity, and sponsors are also being sought.
The drive will help to stock the shelves of local food pantries, and it has traditionally been scheduled for the lead-up to the winter holiday season. The organizers are hoping everyone will make a generous contribution of non-perishable food, and monetary donations will also be welcome.
To help make the event a success, planners are seeking corporate sponsorships, and there are a range of options available. These start at the $500 “Team” level and go up to the “VIP Sponsor" level at $10,000. These all come with their own set of perks and will put the supporter's branding in the public eye.
Food and fundraising events can help make it easier for the public to support their neighbors in need. Print shops can prepare mailers to send out to local households that offer details about where a function will take place and how the public can get involved.
Pasadena will be holding its 19th Food Drive on November 19 at Campbell Hall, located at the Pasadena Municipal Fairgrounds. Donations can be dropped off starting at 8:00 am, and all help will be appreciated.
