Pasadena plans crawfish feast
Pasadena crawfish lovers can enjoy a feast of this popular dish while helping to fight blindness.
The whole family is invited to come out to ‘Peelin’ for Peepers’, which will be an afternoon and evening of food, fun and friendship. The crawfish will be served in all-you-can-eat style, and there will also be hot dogs for those who prefer a non-seafood option.
While they enjoy the meal, guests at the fundraiser can try their luck in the even split draws and raffles, and there will also be a variety of baked goods on offer. Music will keep the crowd entertained, and the monies raised will be donated to the Foundation Fighting Blindness. This group funds research into a variety of conditions, such as macular degeneration and Usher Syndrome, that can lead to vision loss.
Tickets can be purchased both in advance and at the door. They start at $30 for adults and $15 for anyone 12 and under. Poster printing and other marketing services for this time of community occasion can be provided by a local print company.
