Helping hands sought for Pasadena project
This fall, Pasadena will be undertaking a project that will lend a hand to homeowners in need, and this initiative will give community residents a chance to do a good turn for their neighbors.
The Pasadena Chamber of Commerce is seeking volunteers for the “Team Up to Clean Up” day, and it will see teams and individual helpers fan throughout the city making minor exterior repairs to the homes of veterans, those with physically challenges, seniors, and others who can use some assistance. The organizer has explained that it can be a service project for just about anyone, adding that all help will be appreciated.
Those who sign up to participate in this yearly event will be given the tools and other materials they need to perform yard work and fix any small problems on the outside of the recipient’s home. Sponsoring this type of function can help the organizers to make as big an impact as possible, and if the logo design of the companies that choose to get involved in a project like this are included in the materials that are used to promote it to the community, it can be an easy way for the organizers to thank them for their support.
