The Portia Southern Foundation is set to present The Portia Southern Foundation Mardi Gras Scholarship Gala next month to raise money for Humble students, as well as its own cause of raising awareness of domestic violence.
The gala will be a collaborative effort between The Portia Southern Foundation, a nonprofit organization supported victims of domestic violence, and Gamma Phi Delta Sorority Incorporated, a professional and business-oriented sorority that remains involved in the local community. Proceeds raised from the event will go towards funding scholarships for local high school seniors.
At the gala, guests will enjoy a venue decked out in vibrant Mardi Gras decorations, with the dress code being formal masquerade attire. There will be live entertainment and musical performances, dancing, and complimentary food and beverages. There will also be several prize giveaways, and guests must be present to win these.
Organizers of events that involve elaborately decorated venues may decide to utilize their local Print shops, using their banner printing services to Print out event-themed Banners.
The scholarship gala will take place on Saturday, February 10, running from 6:00pm to 11:00pm. It will be held at the Humble Civic Center, which can be found at 8233 Will Clayton Parkway. Early Bird RSVP Table tickets have already sold out, but general admission is available from $45 per person.Get a Free Quote for Banners Get a Free Quote for Print
