A fiery and refreshing pair will be the feature of an upcoming Humble event.
Nic Nat Promotions is producing this year's 10th Annual Hops n’ Hot Sauce Birthday Bash, part of a series of similar events under the Hops n' Hot Sauce Festival brand.
The event is putting a bigger focus on beer this year, with more breweries on hand and more beers available for sampling. Additionally, more than 40 hot sauce and spicy food vendors are on hand from Texas and other states, and will showcase their products. The sauces and other foods will range from low-heat and flavor-focused to "incendiary level" hot sauces. The event will feature more than 75 vendors overall. Vendors often feature printed Banners at their tables at themed gatherings like this.
Food trucks will be coming from around the Houston area to offer prepared food and snacks during the day in addition to what the vendors will have. The planned activities include competitive eating challenges like a hot pepper eating contest and spicy food eating contest. The winners of these contests will be awarded a trophy made from a custom-made beer can. There will be music on hand for the day as well.
The celebration is scheduled for Saturday, January 24 from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm at the Humble Civic Center.
