Fans of Texas-made blues music throughout Humble are anticipating an upcoming concert that will be taking place in July, headlined by a group that has made a name for itself across the region.
The Texas Headhunters is a group known for its grounding in traditional Texas blues. Originally stemming from Austin, this three-man band regularly tours throughout the region, and they have become rather familiar to Humble fans. The Texas Headhunters comprise Ian Moore, Jesse Dayton, and Johnny Moeller. This group performs cover songs as well as a host of original tunes.
Last year, the Texas Headhunters released a 12-track self-titled album on Blue Elan Records. Some songs that fans may already be familiar with include Maggie Went Back to Mineola, Outlaw, and Burnin' Daylight.
Live concerts dedicated to promoting up-and-coming bands will often turn to proven marketing techniques when preparing for the event. Some common approaches include professional banner printing, creating a series of playbills that describe what songs will be played, and placing Flyers in locations associated with the music sector.
The Texas Headhunters will be playing for Humble residents on Saturday, July 18 and the concert is set to begin at 7:00 PM. This event is being hosted by the Charles Bender Performance Art Center located at 611 Higgins Street. Tickets cost $40 per person.
