Barbecued foods have always represented an integral portion of Texan culture, and an upcoming festival will showcase the talents of local artisans. Foodies across Humble have already begun clearing their palates for what is in store.
The 13th Annual Houston Barbecue Festival is meant to provide a means to sample the products offered by a host of vendors, and dozens of businesses have already confirmed that they will be participating. Organizers also claim that up to 2,200 guests are expected to attend. This makes the Houston Barbecue Festival one of the largest of its kind.
Some vendors include Black Gold Barbecue, Southern Q BBQ, The Pit Room, Truth Barbecue, Tejas Chocolate & BBQ, and Harlem Rd. Texas Barbecue. Additional names may also be added as the date draws closer.
Annual events expected to draw a large crowd will often leverage multifaceted marketing techniques. Some methods include bespoke poster printing, placing Brochures in local restaurants, asking volunteers to hand out Flyers, and securing airtime on relevant radio stations.
The 13th Annual Houston Barbecue Festival is taking place on Sunday, April 12th from 1 PM to 4 PM. It will be hosted by the Humble Civic Center Arena Complex located at 8233 Will Clayton Parkway. Tickets are currently priced at $75.43 per person. This includes entry, and unlimited access to all sample portions.
