Houston vegans looking to connect with others who have also made the choice to go animal product-free may want to save the date for a mixer next month.
The Plant-Based Potluck afternoon will give vegans a space to network, share recipes, and sample a variety of dishes that may be new to them. Whoever brings the best contribution will win a prize, and all cups, plates, and utensils will be supplied.
Everyone who attends has been asked to bring food to share that is free of cheese, eggs, milk, and honey, and all courses, including desserts and beverages, will be welcome. The organizers have asked attendees to place a card beside each dish that outlines its ingredients.
There will also be games to play and other fun, including a karaoke session. Admission starts at $5, and all ages are invited to join in, including kids.
While they may be small, grassroots level activities may often make a big impact. A flyer printing company can offer a variety of marketing options that can be aid with promotion without making a large dent in the budget.
Houston’s vegan community, as well as those who simply want to find out more about going meat and dairy free, are encouraged to attend this potluck planned for Sunday, August 17 at Spotlight Karaoke. It will start at 3:00 pm.
