A Houston craft brewery is set to host a throwdown that will see area BBQ kings and queens go head to head in a friendly competition.
Saint Arnold Brewing Company will welcome the Houston Barbecue Festival, and as this will be its 10th anniversary, the organizers will be pulling out all the stops. The roster includes 14 of the city's top BBQ eateries that will demonstrate their chefs’ talents, and they will showcase the food that has made the city famous.
The attendees at the celebration will be able to access unlimited samples of the fare that will be served, and the beer will be flowing free of charge. Tickets will not be available at the gate, and the judges will make their decision using a blind judging process. A VIP pass option is available, and these provide access to a private seating area as well as other perks. No matter which ticket is chosen, all food must be consumed on site.
