Owls, hawks, and other raptors will be the guests of honor for an event that will celebrate Houston’s feathered friends.
The Raptor and Education Center, which is a project administered by the Houston Audubon chapter, has plans in place for its 2023 Raptor Fest, which will be an event the whole family can enjoy. The schedule is filled with educational opportunities and hands-on fun, where all ages are welcome.
The plans for the day will see the public offered a chance to learn more about birds of prey by taking part in coloring, crafting, and other interactive fun. The activities will be set up both indoors and out, and the options range from a scavenger hunt for the kids to a meet-and-greet with some of the venue’s feathery residents. They can even have their picture taken with an owl, and during Raptor Chat, the audience will be invited to meet a hawk, owl, or eagle up close.
Not-for-profit organizations that host community celebrations usually have a budget they need to work to closely, and a printing services company will be pleased to help by offering products at an assortment of price points, helping their customers to make the most their budget.
Houston Audubon will be welcoming one and all for this special day on February 4. A second session is scheduled for April 8.
