A Houston concert that brings holiday cheer together with a visit to the symphony is on the way for the city’s younger set, and its organizers say it is one of their most popular events of the year.
The Holly Jolly Holiday party will once again be giving kids an opportunity to discover classical music and other tunes performed live, and both instrumental and vocal performances are on the program. It will take place in Jones Hall, and a ticket discount will be available for those who subscribe to all four installations of the PNC Family Series.
The show will feature a selection of pieces, with many of them being popular holiday favorites. The audience can sing along if they wish, and along with this interactive experience, there will be special activities set up in the lobby. The kids will be served hot chocolate, and Santa will be on hand to meet with them and enjoy the festive atmosphere for himself.
