Houston set to show love to Mother Nature

Late April will see a Houston venue celebrate the arrival of Earth Day, and everyone who calls the area home is invited to join in the fun.

The team of staff and volunteers at the Houston Arboretum and Nature Center will be showing Mother Nature lots of love when they host the venue’s Earth Day activities. They are free and open to all ages, and the program is set to run rain or shine.

The function will be putting a spotlight on biodiversity, and many of the activities that are on the agenda will take place outdoors. A scavenger hunt, crafting stations and an assortment of interactive educational opportunities have been planned, and several community partners have been invited to erect a booth or display that demonstrates various ways for people to give nature lots of TLC. It has a run time of four hours and the venue can be found at 4501 Woodway Drive.

Communities all over the world plan special activities in honor of Earth Day. A banner printing company will be able to offer reusable decor and signage that may be friendly to the environment, and can be custom designed for each customer’s requirements.

This day that celebrates the connection between people and the planet is scheduled for April 27th. The agenda runs from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm.
