Houston families set to enjoy crafting series

It's been said that a family that plays together stays together, and a Houston crafting series will give parents and kids some time to enjoy a variety of projects together.

Houston Library offers the community an assortment of activities and events, and attendees in its Craft Together afternoons will be letting their creativity flow. At the end of each event, they can take their creations home with them to be proudly displayed. Advance reservations are required.

The activities, slated for the Johnson Neighborhood Library, are all geared at families with kids from the ages of 5 to 10. The parents or caregivers can get involved in the hands-on projects as well, and the listing for the series pointed out that this will encourage creative bonding. The run time for each instalment is one hour, and seven dates have been scheduled.

Libraries often serve as hubs for their home communities, providing space for classes, workshops and other gatherings. A poster printing company will be pleased to prepare marketing material, and they can be highly effective at building interest.

The Craft Together schedule of sessions starts on June 9th and wraps up on July 28th. Each installment starts at 3:00 pm, and the Houston Library website provides more details as well as a chance to register.
