Houston expo to welcome disabled community

An upcoming event will help to ensure Houston’s disabled residents can be completely involved in the community.

Offering three days of discovery for the local area, the Houston Abilities Expo will see providers of adaptive products and technology showcase their products and services, and advance tickets are required to attend. It will be held at NRG Park’s Hall E, and it will offer lots to see and do.

Along with the opportunity to meet with service providers face to face, attendees can try out the all-inclusive climbing wall, and there will also be information supplied about area adaptive sports. Workshops are on the agenda, covering subjects like how to design a home with accessibility in mind, how people with disabilities can enjoy traveling, and emergency preparation.

The schedule for each of the three days of the function opens at 11:00 am, and it is anticipated that there will be thousands of items for the participants to view and even try out for themselves. People with all types of disabilities are welcome, and they can visit the booths, meet the company and organization representatives, gathering an assortment of Promotional Products as they go.

This three-day event planned with Houston’s disabled community in mind will run from Friday, August 4 to Sunday, August 6. Tickets may be obtained through the Abilities.com website.
