Houston decorates spooky sugar cookies
Decorated cookies are a popular treat, and those who participate in a Houston area workshop will be preparing some that boast a special, spooky twist.
The Nathaniel Center will be the location for a class that crafts sugar cookies with designs that glow in the dark. In keeping with the spirit of the season, they will have a Halloween theme, and it can be a fun experience for the newbie and experienced bakers alike.
The fee for the session includes the cookies and other materials as well as full instruction, and the facilitator will walk the attendees through the steps of completing her project. Those who would like to bring an apron to keep their clothes clean may do so, and the activity will run for two hours. Everyone can take their cookies home with them in the box provided. There is also an option to order extra boxes of cookies when purchasing tickets for the class. The function has been organized by Dapple Bakery.
Bakers and home chefs may be eager to learn some new skills, and a class or workshop provides a fun way to do so. Stationery printers can provide printed take home boxes as well as recipe cards and other custom materials for an activity.
This instruction to the art of decorating sugar cookies will be on offer on October 11th. It will open at 10:00 am.
