The Fight Like a Kid special event is taking place next month in Houston. It is presented by the DBL Boutique and is being held to raise awareness of children’s cancer.
The show will feature fashion shows by current cancer patients and survivors. The kids will also have the opportunity to show off their talents in dance and other artistic skills. The aim is to give them the confidence to do whatever they want to do.
Entertainment will also be provided by children’s entertainers. There is also set to be face painting and a variety of games to play.
Vendors will also be on hand to sell a variety of items including arts and crafts. Booths are available for $600 each. Sponsorships are also available for $1,500 and $2,000; sponsors will no doubt be recognized at the event by Signs or Banners.
Over 13,000 children are diagnosed with cancer every year and this event hopes to raise awareness of it in the Houston area. Vendors participating in this year’s event will likely invest in sign or banner printing to attract people to their booths.
The Fight Like a Kid fashion and talent show will be held at the Children’s Museum of Houston on April 29 from 2:00 to 6:00 PM. Tickets are $35 for adults and free for children and cancer survivors.
