The McDonald’s Houston Children’s Festival will take place in early spring in Houston, and is looking to outdo its previous years’ offerings.
Presented by Baker Hughes, The McDonald’s Children’s Festival benefits Child Advocates, Inc. Gathering together in downtown Houston will be an estimated 50,000 attendees comprised of families, volunteers, sponsors and friends. The festival offers the opportunity for everyone to explore, learn and play together.
The team managing the festival is putting together a program of entertainment that will include six music stages, with celebrities from Disney and Nickelodeon.
The 10 Family Adventure Zones offer fun for the entire family, with attractions carrying such names as Dream Discovery Zone, TAM International Giant Lego Zone and Baker Hughes Circustown. Other offerings will include sport sessions for tots and an opportunity to paint energy tiles.
Since it was set up, the annual event has raised over $5m for Child Advocates supporting abused and neglect children throughout the county.
