Out-of-this-world event gets February underway

The 2016 Epicurean Evening is taking place next month in Houston. It will be presented by the Clear Lake Area Chamber of Commerce.

The theme of this year's event is ‘A Taste of Space’. Guests will be treated to food from over 40 area restaurants, wine, beer, and nonalcoholic refreshments. The food providers will be competing for several awards including the Out of the World Award, Participants’ Choice, best presentation of food, creativity of booth, and overall showmanship. Guests will vote on their favorites.

The evening will also consist of a silent auction, access to Kids Space Place, and music in genres such as mariachi (Mexican folk).

This will also be a good networking opportunity for members of the Chamber of Commerce. No doubt there will be plenty of chances to talk about business and to exchange cards with peers.

To make sure they have enough cards, many of those planning to attend will be placing a new business card printing order with their regular Houston printer in advance to ensure they have enough to trade.

The Epicurean Evening will be held at Space Center Houston on February 4 from 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm. Tickets are $30 in advance for adults or $35 at the door, $10 for children, and free for children aged three and under. Early entry tickets are $50 each.
