Houston venue sets date for inaugural event

A Houston venue is about to host an inaugural signature fundraiser.

The team at Downtown Aquarium will be pulling out all the stops for its first Sip and Salsa Wine Event, which will celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month. It will take a typical sip and stroll to the next level, and tickets are $65 each.

The activity will feature at least 17 wines sourced from Mexico and Spain, and these will be paired with an assortment of bites. Each ticketholder will be treated to wine tastings as well as animal encounters, and there will be 10 wine stations set up to explore. Live music and salsa dancing are both in the works, and everyone will have access to all of the facility’s exhibits and rides. The activity is for those age 21 and up, so IDs will be required for every attendee.

To thank those who turn out for their support, a wine tasting glass, holder, and lanyard will be presented to each participant. Custom corporate gifts for an activity can be ordered from area Print shops.

The first ever Sip & Salsa Wine Event will be on offer on Friday, October 11. Tickets may be purchased online through web listing, and should any remain unsold, they will be available at the door on the day of the event.
