The Houston Botanic Garden provides the city, as well as visitors to the area, with a variety of horticulturally based experiences. A selection these has been planned with kids in mind next month.
The Garden has organized a schedule of summer camps geared towards kids from grades kindergarten to five. Each will run for five days, and every week will have its own theme.
Dubbed “BontaniCamp,” the program will give kids a variety of ways to learn about plants and the rest of the natural world. It will be hands-on, and each of the campers will be encouraged to use all of their senses throughout the experience. The registration fee is $115 per child for each week, and members of the Garden will be offered a special discounted rate. Pick up time is 2:00 pm, and a “mini-camp” add-on is available for any families that need this to be pushed back.
Tee shirts, registration Forms, display materials, and activity Books are just some of the items a printing services company will be able to prepare for an event.
The schedule of Botanicamps will kick off on June 19, and the last week will begin on August 21. They will be held at 8210 Park Place Boulevard, and their online listing provides a full description of each week, as well as further details.
