Habitat to hold annual fundraiser next month

The 10th annual Tool Box Bash is set to take place this May.

It is a fundraising event for Habitat for Humanity Northwest Harris County, which this year hopes to generate enough to build two homes.

Guests will enjoy a sit-down dinner while they find out all about Habitat for Humanity. They can participate in live and silent auctions and meet some special guests, the identities of whom have yet to be confirmed. They can also purchase raffles tickets for $10 each or $50 for six; this year's prizes include a cruise, a resort getaway, and a restaurant gift card.

Tables of 10 are available for sponsors, and prices range from $1,500 up to $10,000. Sponsors will be recognized at the event, in the event program, and in all advertising leading up to the Bash. Local businesses can also help the event by donating items to the silent and live auctions.

The program, which serves as a souvenir to those who attend and as a way to recognize those who have supported the event, is likely to be supplied by Houston area brochure printers.

The Toolbox Bash is taking place at the Northwest Forest Conference Center in Cypress on May 2 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Tickets are $125 each. To learn more about this event, or about Habitat for Humanity Northwest Harris County, contact Lauren White at 281-477-0460.
