Houston's Taste of the Nation is taking place next month, and is a fundraising event for No Kid Hungry's Share our Strength.
The event is expected to feature over 40 chefs, mixologists, restaurants, and barbeque joints from all over the city. Guests will be treated to some of the best food available in Houston, as well as premier wines and spirits.
One of the main events for the evening will be the silent auction. Some of the prizes that can be bid on this year are a culinary tour for four with Chef Chris Shepherd, an in-home dinner for four, a barbecue techniques course, and a catered barbecue for 15.
Sponsorships of tables of 10 are also available for $5,000 and $10,000. Sponsors will be mentioned in all Print advertising, press releases, and other marketing materials.
No Kid Hungry offers nutrition programs for children when school is out. It is likely that Print Invitations were sent out to some people who have contributed to the charity before. These would most likely be obtained from Houston printing companies.
Houston's Taste of the Nation will take place at The Corinthian on September 29 from 5:30 pm to 9:00 pm. General admission tickets are $125 and $200 for VIP members, who will be admitted one hour early. Contact Emily Roth at 512-551-3470 to learn more.
