‘Mythbusters: the Explosive Exhibition’ is set to open at Space Center Houston at the end of this month and it will be on display until September.
The exhibition is based on the Discovery Channel television show ‘Mythbusters’. The show seeks to discredit or prove the many urban and scientific myths that are prevalent in society. The entire exhibit will be hands-on and interactive.
Guests enter through a shipping container and the room is divided into The Blueprint Room, The Workshop, and a demonstration stage. In the Blueprint Room, visitors will get to interact with items that have been used on the television show, including props, Blueprints, and video. In The Workshop, they will get to use science to disprove or prove various theories such as whether you get wetter walking or running through rain, about the moon and zero gravity, and whether a wolf could actually blow down a house as in the ‘Three Little Pigs’ tale.

The exhibition will run from May 28 to September 5 at the Space Center Houston. The Center is open seven days a week, and tickets are $24.95 for adults, $22.95 for seniors, and $19.95 for children between the ages of 4 and 11.
