Annual Independence Day festival returns

The Fourth Fest in Pasadena is taking place next month, presented by the City of Pasadena.

The afternoon is filled with activities that should please every member of the family. The Kid-Zone will have lots of games, moonwalks, wax hands, water tattoos and other fun activities. Music will be provided during the day, there is a USMC Toys for Tots BBQ cookoff, and there will be water balloon fights for everyone to participate in.

A car and truck show is taking place for a couple of hours, and awards will be handed out in various categories. Registration to participate in the show for each vehicle is $15 in advance and $20 on the day of the event.

The evening will finish off with a fireworks show lasting a full 20 minutes.

Vendors are set to be on hand to sell a variety of food and novelty merchandise. Fees are $50 for a 30 x 30 foot space. Sponsorships are also available from $250 up to $3,000 and beyond.

Colorful Flyers have been produced to advertise this Houston-area event.
