The World Corporate Games are taking place in Houston for four days next month. A portion of proceeds will be donated to UNICEF USA.
The games will involve 18 sports including badminton, soccer, tennis and beach volleyball; there are also 5K and 10K runs. The competition is open to participants aged 12 and up. The event will start off with a two-day Health and Wellness Expo at the Marriot Marquis Downtown. Participant in the games will be able to pick up their packages here which includes a souvenir. The expo will feature many companies and organizations that will be showcasing their products and service.
Next there is the Grand Parade on November 17 at Discovery Green. All participants in the games will have a chance to show off their teams and highlight their businesses. There will be a Great Game Celebration at Lucky’s Pub Downtown on November 18. There are set to be food trucks, games and live musical entertainment. The games will come to an end with the closing awards ceremony at the Marriot Marquis; in addition to sporting awards the Sport for Life Grand Award will be presented.
No doubt a Houston brochure printing firm will be hired to help advertise the games in the community.
