The exhibition "Gear-Up: The Science of Bikes" is continuing at The Health Museum until May of this year.
The exhibit was organized by the Carnegie Science Center and is presented by Sciencenter. It describes the evolution and the history of bikes as a transportation vehicle. Visitors will also learn the engineering behind the bicycle and discover the latest technology. Those who are energized by the exhibition can rent bikes near the museum at Hermann and LaBranch.
In addition to this exhibition, there are also several going on concurrently at the Health Museum, including "The Hands that Feed Houston" and "Outbreak: Epidemic in a Connected World."
