The 9th annual Houston Halloween Fest will be taking place next month. As well as being a presentation of the Houston Zombie Walk, it will also be a fundraiser for the Too Ghoul for School Education Fund.
There is set to be plenty of activities that should appeal to people of all ages, such as live musical entertainment from artists like Mexicana and the Monster Squad and The Lost Boys.
A couple of beer gardens will be set up for the adults, a portion of proceeds from which will be donated to the Pup Squad Animal Rescue.
Vendors will also be on hand to sell arts and crafts and general merchandise, and most will be participating in giveaways. Booths are still available for $100 for arts and crafts and $150 for business. There will be several food trucks as well.
The Kid Zone will feature a magic show from Robby Bennett and Lanny Kibbey, juggler Bruce Manners, a kids’ costume contest, an FX blood splatter zone, and craft activities. The Toddler Town Soft Play Zone will keep the little ones entertained.
Flyer printing firms in Houston frequently provide the advertising for events such as this.
The festival will be held on the 200 and 300 blocks of 19th Street on October 19 from 5:00 to 10:00 PM. Admission is $10 for those aged 12 and over. Visit the Facebook event page for the latest information.
