Movie night airs films in Bellaire

A community movie experience is being planned in Bellaire, providing local families with a fun experience that blends entertainment with the outdoors.

The Dive-In Movie Night, organized by the City of Bellaire and Bellaire Parks, is preparing to air family-friendly films in a unique setting, providing families with the chance to grab snacks, lawn chairs, and blankets for a fun evening. The event is being used as a celebration of the end of summer for the community and the return to school for Bellaire’s youth.

The annual event will provide attendees with access to the community pool to beat the heat. Interested parties are welcome to begin gathering around sundown. It will double as a community fundraiser and is among the most anticipated community events in the annual calendar. Organizers can use flyer printing to create marketing tools to place around the community and promote events like this.

Disney’s 1989 film “Honey, I Shrunk the Kids” is the movie that will be shown. Registered guests will receive a pool noodle, dinner, and frozen treats with the ticket price. Wolfies Swim School and SLS Properties are sponsoring this year’s event.

The Bellaire Town Square Aquatic Center will host the movie night on Thursday, August 7. Gates open at 6:30 PM. Tickets are $25 per person online or $35 at the door.
