Families with children who have plans to attend college will have the chance to learn more about available funding through a Bellaire organization.
The Post Oak School has announced an upcoming event that will shed light on the little-known secrets families can use to help pay for college, allowing Bellaire residents increased access to higher education. The workshop is designed to work with those parents in the community who worry about how they are going to pay for their child’s tuition.
Attendees will learn more about the different levers they can pull to help them pay for their child to go to college while still maintaining their retirement savings. The College Funding Coach will be presenting the college-funding workshop for parents who are preparing for that day, as well as those with years to plan. Flyer printing can help organizers spread the word around the community through impressions and grassroots marketing techniques.
Parents will learn about the best ways to save while simultaneously paying for college. Techniques to recapture out-of-pocket expenses related to college will also be shared and discussed, along with other useful tips.
The class will be held at The Post Oak School on Bissonnet Street in Bellaire, and is scheduled for Tuesday, February 10 at 5:30 PM. Attendance is free and guests can register online.
