Bellaire event platforms creativity

An event in Bellaire is returning in late April, bringing makers to a larger crowd.

The Bellaire Arts & Crafts Festival is an annual event that gives local craftspeople and small businesses a place to showcase and sell their work, meet potential customers, network with other creatives, and celebrate the community.

Vendors at events like this often cover a variety of art disciplines and other product types. These can include paintings, art prints, jewelry, clothing, vintage items, Books, ceramics, woodwork, sculptures, food, and drinks. Many items are either one of a kind or offered in a limited quantity.

The festival is put together by the Bellaire Culture and Arts Board. The show is juried, meaning the group selects which vendors to approve for participation. In addition to the market portion, guests can enjoy activities geared towards kids and live performers.

Attendees can also bring along furry friends as long as they are behaved and on leashes. Admission is free and parking is open to guests at the city’s water tower lot, on Fifth Street close to the rec center, and at Condit Elementary School. Many locally run events like this one will use flyer printing as a promotion technique.

The festival will run from 10:00am to 4:00pm on Saturday, April 25 and takes place at Paseo Park. It will be held rain or shine unless the weather becomes too severe.
