The Houston West Chamber of Commerce - which includes the area surrounding Bellaire, Texas - has announced they will be hosting an upcoming event that will honor veterans from as far back as World War 2. According to Chamber officials, this event will feature a special tribute to veterans of this war. Attendees will get to hear from veterans who served.
In addition to hearing speeches and eating lunch, Chamber officials have announced that there will be a veterans expo designed to allow Chamber members to highlight services that they may offer to veterans. Interested companies can contact the Chamber for more information on how to participate in the Expo. Registration for the expo is $500.
As always with a Chamber event, this event will allow Chamber members to network with each other and grow their business contacts. To that end, Chamber officials are encouraging all attendees to bring Business Cards and be ready to grow their business.
The event is held on Friday, November 3, from 10:00 am - 1:30 pm. Doors open at 10:00 am, with a Flyover occurring at 10:45. The luncheon and program begins at 11:15 am, and the event should conclude by 1:30 pm.
The event is being held at the Alief Campus of Houston Community College, which is located at 2811 Hayes Road in Houston. Tickets are $150 for individuals but complimentary for veterans.
